Horseshoe Pass

My spies tell me that there was some sort of Land Rover gathering near the Horseshoe Pass (Above Llangollen near Wrexham in North Wales) over Easter. Wish I'd known!

Does anyone know of any Land Rover clubs here in sunny Wrexham (hear the irony there...) who'd welcome a (relatively) new S3 owner?

Any with lots of young females who like land rovers would be greatly appreciated, as the reaction from most girls I've met seems to be "you mean you _actually_ drive that?!?!"

Regards

I have to say, that they are a friendly bunch of people. I was looking to join a landy club last year and I noticed that the NWLRC had an event reasonably close to me at Wern Ganol. I popped along in my landy with the kids and my missus, she didn't feel to good so stayed in the landy while the kids and I watched the trails and spoke to a couple of people. I used to belong to the Lancashire and Cheshire LRC a good ten years ago, they also used to trial in the North Wales area alot and they too were friendly...must be a landrover thing! I'm still not a member of any club due to financial circumstances (I own a Landrover!!!), but I will be...one day!

Hands up, it was us!! Lancs & Cheshire LRC had an interclub event up there in the quarry, and what a great weekend it was too. :-))) There is another interclub event being held near to Ellesmere next weekend (1 - 3 May) hosted by Staffs & Shrops LRC. Details can be found at

Small world isn't it! Eventually find a Land Rover club near here, contact the membership secretary only to find he lives about 2 minutes walk away, opposite my local and a mere stones throw from my house!
