L0t of Defender 90's about

My wife and I have noticed a lot of late model Defender 90's (between 3 and 12 years old) about here in the wilds of North Yorkshire this snowy winter.

Are they suddenly both cheap and unfashionable down in the cities or are people using their summer off-road toys for what they were designed for?

There has been a sudden increase in the number of Series and Defenders seen around here too. I think a lot of people have got their toys out of their sheds or, like us, have been using them most of the time instead of just for a specific purpose.

Well if they are appearing in Yorkshire in large volumes then they must be cheap ;0)

Noticed an increase in the number of Land Rovers and other 4x4's around here as well. But is it a real increase or just that anything not 4x4 couldn't get out onto the roads? B-)

So that's where they end up? I thought all the nicked 90's from the South East were Piky'd for parts, or scrap.

Certainly the one time mine was stolen it was found a week later in Slough without it's starter motor. I lost more in no claims bonus that the bloody starter cost new.
