O.T. Just been sent this link.

If you are passionate about footy (I'm not - real sport has spark-plugs!) then this might upset you. If you couldn't care less, you'll most likely find it hilarious! Read the buyers questions as well, there's some corkers in there!

After re-building the URL, it says item 290004418871 doesn't exist. Thought I'd let others know so they don't spend any time re-constructing the whole thing!

On or around Sat, 8 Jul 2006 06:53:39 +0100, Ian Rawlings enlightened us thusly:

you only need the first bit as far as the end of the item number. this applies to any ebay item.

The item number is way too long.

It was basically someone having a dig at england's demise from the world cup, by putting the whole team up for auction with a starting price of £100000000 or thereabouts. The funny thing was the "ask seller a question" comments, about 5 pages worth when I looked at it. I was virtually in tears I was laughing so much at the time. Sheer class. ebay obviously had a sense of humour failure and removed the listing. Badger.

Didn't know that. Fair enough.
