Recommendations - Discovery rear floor replacement . . .

One of our Discoveries has a disintegrating floorpan. I've put off doing anything about it and now really ought to do something PDQ before something falls through . . . problem is no time!

Anyone know someone who can be trusted with this job in the W or E Midlands? Either a trustworthy LR specialist or a competent welder?

Also, who's the best supplier of a replacement panel?

I've got loads of things to do around the region so could drop off for a day or two and collect once done almost anywhere with a station nearby.

Cheers, Lurch

SPI sell a replacement floor section, we've brought them at work for customers with the same fault - if I recall about £100 for the panel.

I've heard the Genuine Parts panel is about £60, but I sold the vehicle before I got a round tuit.

*I've* heard that the cost is in the work required. Id you have the time to strip out all the seats and trim, then it's apt to be cheaper. >

Totally. I was quoted about £400 for the whole thing.
