Can anyone recommend a suitable sort of spring, and source of such a spring, for a 300tdi defender engine? This is the second one required by ARC regulation A.15. Where should it be linked in / anchored?
The guy in Bearmach just looked at me blankly when I asked there on Friday "We just work from part numbers here..". Very helpful, not.

Speak to the scrutineer at the club organising the trial. Our scrutineer carries a box of springs wherever he goes...
Best is always to go along to a club night if they have one & get someone to sort you out in advance..
