Bunch of buggers that they are.

I found out on the 5th that an online casino spammer had used the @tynemouthvlb.org part of our rescue teams e-mail address as a reply address to their crap. As a result I ended up with initially over 1000 emails a day from dead accounts. After the marvels of hotmail blocking, I am now down to a steady stream of 100-200 a day.

I will now most likley have to move the website, as our email address looks to now be blocked by aol (I am expecting others to follow)

And what can I do about it? Apparently eff all.

It's bad enough when your personal email address is abused in this way but for an organisation like yours it must be soul destroying.

And now to top it all off, with this new virus doing the rounds, loads of people emailed by this spammer with our address who have it are now emailing me with the bloody thing!! One of the few times I have been thankful of hotmail and their virus filters...
