Just fitted my DiscoParts steering guard. It's pretty much the only one I could find for a Disco II and seems quite acceptably good. Has recovery eyes as well, which I like in a steering guard.
Had a pleasant couple of hours rolling around underneath the Disco with lots of grit in my eyes. This is the life - now I remember why I traded the P38 for a Disco! I can't imagine why I enjoy ripping my hands to pieces but somehow it's very satisfying.
The only problem was it's missing the bolts to bolt the plastic spoiler to the guard. Ho hum. Have to save that for another day. Thinking back to fitting my Scorpion guard on my Disco I, which took a whole weekend, it was a heck of a lot easier than last time round.
