T.D engine spairs

I am still attempting to empty the garage! I have a T.D engine I am breaking. Crank re-ground with shells cylinder head (heads on fleebay) as far as i know is good order the engine had no over heating problems/ water loss. Fuel pump had been refurbed with new diaphragm, gaskets, and spindle seals. Standard Pistons with new standard rings The block needs a rebore but as far as i know there is no other problems with it as it had no water loss over heating issues

I am in west yorks, open to any reasonable offers

Cheers Icky

Starting the bidding at £20 for the turbo, both manifolds and any pipework that i might require to bolt the turbo onto my N/A diesel! :)

Turbo is no longer with us! Sorry Tom

If you went for that conversion you would also need the injection pump, I don't think it would be a wise move anyway tbh the NAD is a good solid engine that goes a long way all be it slowly slaping turbo on it will give you all the T.D problems and most likely others besides.

Interesting project though

Its slow though, and ive caught the turbo bug from my car! :)

i rebuilt it a few years back, i reckon it could take a low pressure turbo.

is the pump really different? im sure i could just turn some of the screws on mine to richen it! :)

There is a pipe that goes from the turbo to the pump I think this increases the fuel in relation to how much the turbo is blowing. My uncle once got a renault turbo thing from an auction this had a non turbo pump fitted and would not pull the skin off a rice pud. We fitted the correct pump and it was like a different motor still a pile though :0)
