TIME WALK

We were camping in Australia=92s Blue Mountains when the rover went on strike. To fill in time we decided to film Time. So we sat on a rock, for 13 hours, and clicked a single frame 1872 times. Run as a film strip it shows Time walking from sunrise into the night. Hope you enjoy that clip at

Don't understand, where did that g***se URL come from? I saw:

Which is as described. Though the relevance to this group without the background to the break down is tenuious. It's a bit odd watching the surise and head off to the left instead of the right.

The relevance to any of the 6 or so groups he's posted it to is tenuous. There's got to be a click thru or other money making exercise going on somewhere, and I sure as hell wasn't leaving his URL intact.

The OP was a spammer, Nige did his usual pointless reply (the spammers never read them) and removed the URL, which you promptly put back in.

I don't think Nige did anything at all unless I'm missing something ??

Are you confusing contributors due to content I wonder?

No you didn't f*ck as like but you wanted to err, f*ck as like! Just someone got there first! I have crystal balls.

I didn't see it anywhere else and the orginal destination looks genuine enough which is more than can be said for the g***se link. Why not just break or XXXX out the link rather than replace it with another?

It maybe coincidence (not) that "Klaus" sent the message and "Klaus Jaritz" is the (c) 2008 holder on the site and registrant of the domain name. So spam in trying to drive traffic to his site but I can't see how looking at it on a direct link gets him any cash. There is some google analytics tracking in the page but that is all.

+++++++++++++++ Thanks Dave. I am a retired documentary film maker, and my website is my hobby. I don't get anything out of it. Greetings to you - Klaus

The relevance might well be tenuous but it's an impressive video nevertheless. One technical point though - the phenomena shown in the video is due to the earth rotating on its axis rather than because we're hurtling around the sun at a huge velocity. It is our orbit of the sun and the slightly tilted angle of the earths axis which creates the annual cycle of seasons. You'd have to be "sat on a rock" for a very long time to capture a whole year by time-lapse video.

I'm off for a lie down now. Nurse! The screens.
