I don't know if my last post is visible - I can see it on my server but no response, so apologies for the duplicate post..
Recently, my 1984 110V8 4 speed manual has had difficulty engaging reverse gear. The lever always goes fully into reverse but when releasing the clutch the gearbox is still in neutral. After this, sometimes it's difficult (read impossible) to get the gearstick back to neutral. If I try again gently it will often click straight into reverse happily.
Given that I use reverse many times a day whilst manouvering a trailer it's a rather important gear!
Any help or advice please?
