V8 engine question

I'm doing a top end rebuild on an engine in a Rangie I've bought, which will eventually go in my 110 when it's done. I've taken the heads off and cleaned them, and the dishes in the pistons look a bit on the small side for me for what is supposedly a 9.35:1 compression engine. I've attempted to measure them using my limited tools and decided they're somewhere in the 1.3 - 1.4mm deep range (which is I think about 50 - 55 thou in old money). Is this about right? Anyone got a list of how deep they should be for the various CRs?

Ta, Paul

I can recognise them on sight, but I've never thought to measure them! Sounds like you've got 9.75:1 CR pistons from an SD1 vitesse. Excellent. Will handle unleaded or lpg nicely, giving good torque. Badger.
