What Seats for a 90?

I want to replace the uncomfortable front seats in my 90, there are many posts on this subject but I'm looking for some advice as to what seats will go in without needing welding or extensive modification as my DIY skills are limited.

So far I have seen some at Exmoor trim but it will set me back nearly £450, I am sure there is a cheaper way.

My IIa had Vauxhall seats from something in when I got it. I'm convinced to this day that they were instrumental in fecking up my knee due to being too high and the double de-cluthching requrired. Beware the position. Many will fit but it doesn't necessarily mean they will be right. I ended up having a knee op and converting the IIa to auto.

I've seen RR seats in a 110 but they looked too tall in the cushion area too.

I think RRC seats fit & they are very comfy indeed.

When you letting me have a look at the beast then?

I still think that bucket seats are well comfy.

Done a few unofficial in them, and never had any issues.

Drove all the way to KORK from here, and did peddars way with them.

For the money, i think they are great, but it depends on what you like.

There is a knack to getting in and out though ;)

Andy Hi,

most probably the "rubber" foam on your seats has been worn/damaged.

Exmoort sells replacement foam elements both for the seat base and back and they are extremely good and last longer than the genuine ones.

And they are quite cheap.

yeah, I got a re-trim kit (in techno :-)) for the 110 front seats. Makes a lot of difference, and much cheaper than new seats.

The 90 seats ive put into the 101 along with new foam and cover kits from exmoor seem very comfy!
