How do I turn off the Maintenance Required light on the dashboard on a
2004 LS430 after an oil change?
Hmmmmm, is that covered in the owner's manual?
You know, that nice book that tells all about how to use your shiny new $70,000 toy.
I know that manuals are beneath you, but so is begging to be spoon fed--for free--something so obvious.
Do I detect a little jealousy here, Elmo?
Thanks Elmo, you've been most helpful.
Hardly.
Do a little digging, and you'll see that I'm all about equal opportunity when it comes to people asking to be spoon fed tidbits from the manual of their shiny new $XX,000 toy.
opportunity...
Yes, we know. You're an asshole to everyone, not just people you're jealous of.
There's not a soul in this world I'm jealous of.
Contemptuous of? Yes--and that would include people who are too lazy to pick up the manual and instead come to places like this asking to be spoon-fed, for free.
Wow. Second time you used the phrase "for free". Would you prefer that we send you a check for your blindingly insightful overtures? Just post all your checking account information here, and we'll all direct deposit whatever you ask for -- it's certainly worth it!
"Elmo for President"
Yeah. So?
He could call his dealer and ask, but his dealer would probably charge him for it. Here, he finds a sucker to spoon feed him for free.
You need to seek professional help. I'm sorry you were abused as a child, but no need to spread your bile here. You seem to be incapable of understanding the concept of "friendly information exchange". If this bothers you, you would do everyone a favor by going away. No response to this post is necessary. You've clogged up the group with your useless drivel enough already.
Good luck -- you need it.
The only BILE being spread here is by idiots too lazy to look in the freaking owner's manual.
The usenet doesn't exist to be a substitute for the owner's manual, or to spoon-feed lazy idiots.
I see I touched a nerve there, didn't I? Good.
I'm all for it--but not for spoon-feeding the owner's manual to idiots one tidbit at a time.
All these replies and not one person has answered his question !!!! Sorry I don't have the answer as I drive an Accra.
