I don't think it's valve seals because it comes out of both tailpipes. Can be embarrassing. Isn't there an idle control device somewhere that can suck oil into the intake? But it still isn't using any noticeable amount of oil. The dipstick says full after 2000 mi. Car only has 74,000 mi.

A huge puff of smoke on startup is most often intake valve seal failure. Since all of your valves have guide seals.....
A variation on the valve guide seal theme is a cylinder head that is badly sludged to the point that the valve cover(s) partially fill with oil which will overcome the sealing ability of even good seals. IAC motor inlets are not positioned to pickup oil vapor UNLESS.... your PCV is not functioning in which case the crankcase inlet pipe (upstream from the IAC will become a discharge instead of an inlet for crankcase blowby. THEN the IAC might ingest some oil.
