416 drive belt

Steering went on my car tonight then battery went flat breakdown folk came and the drive belt has snapped any ideas how much this is likely to cost?

If you leave the battery flat till the frost gets to it a lot more than the £5 plus fitting for a new fan belt.

Well not much i can do tonight and the battery is dead so how much am i talking?

It depends on how far the car is from a garage, if it's just the drive belt it'll be whatever the garages minimum charge is, snag is you'll have to get the car to the garage & then give them ~£20. If you can live without it for a day then buy a battery charger, recharge the battery & then drive it to the nearest garage or ring round the man with a van mechanics, again most of the cost will be getting to you so you'll get a lot of variation.
