How much roughly will it cost to replace an Audi A4 remote keyfob?, I have purchased a car with only the standard key.

From hearing the stories of a friend with an A6 I'd estimate anything up to a grand[1] to buy it and get it programmed into the system - Audi parts seem excrutiatingly expensive!!

However IIRC the locksmith at Thurrock shopping centre was where I got one cloned for £30, so presumably other places can do it.

Ring around enough and eventually I imagine you'll find a locksmith with the computer gear to do it. Dealer prices will be very silly.

The locksmiths that sorted my car out are Harfords in Dewsbury. £65 for 3 transponder keys for my Ford, including reprogramming.
