Where is the cheapest place online to purchase car badges GTI TDi and the likes of.

For what car? Many cars have online parts suppliers, many don't. Those online suppliers tend to be specialist in one make or model.

Reminds me, in Sheffield I saw a Rover SD1 where the owner had added a convincing extra couple of zeros to the engine size badge on the back.

That is, of course, unless Rover did actually make a 350000 model.
