I need to touch up a ford escort finesse. I have been told that there should be a plate under the bonnet mentioning the colour code. I cant see this ifo , can anyone tell me if I am looking in the right place at least?

It will be on the VIN plate, the alloy stamped plate under the bonnet forward cross member. Note all the details down and one of them will define the original colour.
