EBC green stuff pads ?

I was wondeirng if anyone has used these before, the cars coming up to a pad change and these seem fair in price £28.8 for rear pads, £39.86 for fronts. Costs a little more than OEM stuff but just wondering if its worth it or not. Normally use a brand called pagid for a vw polo 2001.

Also looking for some discs too, plenty of lip\scouring on the current ones.

I've just put Yellowstuffs on my Alfa. They rock in a big way.

They've made a 30 year old braking system feel vaguely modern.

Ahh sounds good, I notice you've got a track day coming up so they'll be perfect for that. he yello ones are for track or such like ?

They're a 'fast road / track' pad.

I was put off Greenstuffs by people saying they'd had them fall apart on larger cars.

Given that your Polo probably weighs more than my 75, I'd try the Yellows personally. It takes a couple of stops to get some heat into them, though.

Green stuff pads warped my discs and many other people have said the same. And before someone comes along and blames my driving style, it was the only set of discs I've warped in 30 years.

Interesting I will do a bit more research into them. They seem to get a

50/50 in the polo forums I have read, I may be better just getting OEM stuff from GSF.

Forgot to add to that interestingly GSF are stocking greenstuff pads, pagid, plus a few others. Will get some nice vented brembo discs aswell, shame they will be hidden by my steelies, I was contemplating getting a pot of paint to paint my calipers :)
