my Vw Polo's electric windows don't work anymore - first the offside one stopped working, then, a few weeks later the nearside one stopped working. Any ideas as to what is going on? Help!

offside one stopped working, then, a few weeks later the nearside one stopped working.
It could be caused by any of the following. The window winder motors, switches, fuse, faulty wiring or connections. Or maybe a mechanical problem. All you can do is systematically check them all until you find the cause, or stick it in a garage for someone else to sort out. First thing after checking the fuse, is to take the door cards off.
