My peugeot 306 has decided to keep its headlights on after switchin
everything off, a short or faulty relay, where do i start looking. Any
pointers?

find the relay and pull it out, there is probably another relay the same in
there which you can use for a test.

most likely is that the relay has 'stuck' on, but it is possible that it is
being fed from a faulty light or flasher switch, the substitution will prove
which it is.
