2004 Fiesta 1.4 zetec, "engine warning light" permanently on (came on whilst driving and now comes on as soon as you start it), and the revs are very bumpy like a missfire between 1000 and 2000rpm. Any advice much appreciated, I'm assuming I should start checking the HT leads? cheers sam
These coil packs are known for giving issues. Is the car still under warranty? Even if not, it won't be by far, so get it back to Ford pronto and see if they'll do a good will check on it for you.
Almost certainly the coil pack.
