ford central locking

Got a 2000 Uk 1.8 TDDI Focus, and the back passenger side central locking won't work. Can lock it manually, and all the other doors centrally lock. Is likely to be a fuse? motor?, and what the cost-and can I do it myself? Thanks

Replace the latch/actuator mechanism.

Remove door card, Slacken rear runner of window regulator Remove the 2x25torx screws through to the handle Remove 3x large star head studs in latch pull latch out, remove cable and multiplug

Replace with new latch/actuator.

Reassemble in reverse.

BEFORE YOU START.... get the correct part... quite a few different types.... (ie) Dead locks/no dead locks/ etc etc
