Ford Modeo Diesel 2L Oil Sump Plug Tool

I am trying to change oil for the first time. Got under the engine to find one needs a special tool to remove sump plug to drain oil. Went and bought a special tool (star looking, alan key like ) with marking T55. It was too big to fit, next size down is T50. Found that is too sloppy. (some call this tool multi splined tool) I am unable to remove the drain plug. Can someone suggest me the right tool to remove? Thanks.

T55 is a Torx socket

You need a Torx Socket T45

If you have a set of these try the T45 in the front seat bolts and if it fits in there its will fit the sump plug, as there the same size

Thanks for the replies. I found out the it had head sheared by previous owner (or their mechanic). = I had to take the car to a garage to get the plug removed completely and re= placed it with normal hex headed plug. From now on oil change should be a b= reeze. BTW, the car was 2009 year and I am here down under in NZ. Cheers.
