It's a warning of some error, doubtless. You might need to get the fault codes read or buy a code reader to find out what, but I'm sure Tim will be along in a bit and he'll be bound to know...
Fault code means P0233 Fuel Pump Secondary Circuit Intermittent...and who is Tim?
Someone on here that seems to very knowledgeable about Fords in particular. No idea on the code, sorry, beyond checking the connections at the fuel pump and engine ecu are secure and clean.

This may not be the slightest help, but I had exactly this problem on my Passat a few days ago when I tried to start it after a long period of inactivity. It turned out the battery voltage was very low (around 8.5 volts). Charging it back up to normal voltage fixed the problem (although I now have to buy a new battery).
it is warning that the injection system has a problem. This may be caused by the injector with a sensor on it, but you need a proper check done, it may be very expensive in total.

I've been thinking about that fault code, but I cannot put it into context (secondary circuit is a bit ambiguous in terms of diesel injection).
Bur first thing, has the car had a fuel filter recently? TDCIs (in fact any common rail using a delphi high pressure pump) are very tempremental about the fuel filter not being blocked. If the filter gets partially blocked, they'll generate fault codes suspecting pump/pressure failure.
