I was wondering what you use to lubricate gearlinkages ?
There is nothing wrong with gear changing a little stiff occasionally so I thought lubricating the linkage couldn't hurt ?

Matt ( snipped-for-privacy@matt.com) gurgled happily, sounding much like they were saying :
Whatever you use, make sure it doesn't attack the bushes - so oil is probably straight out.
Ok no oil. What could I use ? I have some white grease ?
Most greases should be OK.
Arghhhh! I have always used oil. What type of bush will it damage? Only yesterday I pulled off a rubber cover and injected a bit of oil onto a pivot.
I wouldn't worry TBH.
