Got the handbrake light come on today and won't go off. Haven't got the manual and could do with tips to adjust it.....anybody?
Also, intermittently, the ABS light stays on after starting up. If it stays on ABS doesn't seem to work...Any ideas?

Low brake fluid. Put some in to the brake fluid reservoir (under the bonnet). Or your brakes might stop working. And your clutch. Not massively pleasant.
YOu've got a leak in your air brakes & driving like that will lose you your operators licence. Or maybe you don't drive a truck?
Wot, no buzzer? :-))
Steve
Don't need a buzzer, provided you've got a visual warning device ;-)
As others have said, could be low brake fluid, or possibly worn brake pads (depends if wear indicators fitted, and if they use the same warning light)
It's stays on to tell you that there's a fault. And when it detects a fault, it doesn't work. Most likely a faulty wheel speed sensor.
It'll probably be that the fluid level has dropped. However, it's also a sign that the brake pads have worn down too, so don't just go and fill up the reservoir - find out *why* the level is low first.
On a lorry? You sure about that?
Yes.
Provided there is a visual warning device, then no audible warning is required. No buzzers or beepers are fitted to Renault Midliners or Midlums.
Air pressure build-up - 3 Mins allow from 0 to buzzer off. At 2000rpm.
That's what I'm allowed on my cargo. It just makes it. It would make it easily, but I've added an extra air tank so I can use air tools on a breakdown. Lazy git, yes I know, but when I undo the wheel nuts with the windy gun, they always say "Oooh, it's just like formula 1"
Steve
Be the first I've ever driven without one.
