My wife's Mini Cooper S stereo switches on and off randomly (without touching on/off button) can happen when ignition is on or off. I have even removed the fuse and it still works!! (and still turns itself on and off)
Any suggestions - short of selling the annoying thing.

From what I remember there was a software update for this - speak with your dealer. Otherwise, replace the radio.
