Sorry if anyone takes offense at this post - but its important for Smile account holders.
The information below is a copy of what I have posted on my website .. but there's no point in visiting as there is no more information there than what I have posted below .. this is not 'hit count spam'.
As a smile customer - and someone involved somewhat in ITsecurity - it makes me a bit concerned why Smile havent put up even the briefest of messages on their Homepage.
Ok - its a Sunday - but so what? Surely something like this deserves paying some spotty oik double or tripple time to edit the home page, right ?
(ok - not all web developers are spotty oiks .. just a few of them are :o))) )

I believe LloydsTSB have been hit by a similar problem too, there's a message on their website about it. Seems to be a lot of this sort of scam going on at the moment. :-(

I had a similar scam asking for details of my Barclay's account. And it was several days before Barclay's commented on it - now you get a warning page every time you log on.
But I had a similar scam for my ebay/Paypal account just before anyway.
Anything by email asking for PIN numbers etc should be ignored. Or simply log on to your account in the normal way - if they require further information from you they'll ask for it there.
