I have a 2014 5008 and it has a very small scratch which I am trying to buy a touch in pencil for. I can't find the colour code for it. The label inside the drivers door gives KGNC** on the third line and 720EN on the fourth line. It's a blue Allure and I assume that one of these is the colour code.

Any ideas why I can't locate the colour?

that would explain it, I had thought that 5008 was always a peugeot, but I avoid cars like that where possible.

That's probably the paint reference code the dealership or body shop would use, if you go to pugs spares department they will supply you the correct paint. Halfrauds might be able to match it to as they do mix paint now.

In Brum its parts gateway in Armoury road Small heath

Same with the relay or boxer vans the paint codes are often fiat orientated its not unusual for several manufacturers to have the same paint under different internal codes

I was looking at a Ford today and side by side I couldn't see any difference in colours. Anyway I went to Peugeot who the car was bought from and they say they have the code for me (KGN) but they would have to order a paint stick in as it's not one they keep in stock. Said sod it and found a place on ebay in Lisburn who has it and at a quarter of the Peugeot price.

If its a scratch you want to touch up I recommend that you don't use the brush that comes with the paint. Go down to your local pound shop and buy a set of artist brushes

Use a brush size suitable for the scratch and without overloading it with paint you should be able to carefully fill the scratch without over painting the existing surrounding paint. I done near invisible paint repairs by applying three orfour coats of paint this way.

At around 10p per brush - just throw it away after use.
