Re: old haynes manuals up for grabs

Having just cleared out the shed, I have the following manuals that

I don't see anything to be ashamed about your taste in cars. I was sometimes ashamed of many of mine in the old days (dare I mention Ford Anglia, Morris Maxi, Austin Princess - the list goes on and on). All were kept going with the help of the good old Haynes manuals and none ever saw the inside of a garage except at MOT time. I usually included the manual when I sold the car, otherwise I would have had quite a collection myself. Yesterday, I finally acquired the Haynes manual for my Nissan Almera (it's taken them eight years to produce it). I now know where the pollen filter is located, although Haynes says that I have to remove part of the glove-box with a Hacksaw to get at it :-) I hope that your manuals find good homes.

I have been informed also that you can get a cubic metre of expanded polystyrene in the back of a Princess.. So know you know.
