rear window interior protection?

Does anyone know of any protectors for the inside of the rear window. In particular I want to protect the heater elements from my dogs' claws when they get a bit overexcited by a passing dog say.

Get a box to carry the dog in. ( I don't care how big the dog is you can buy boxes to suit). This is far safer than having a loose dog in the car. Or get a Ute.

My dogs like air. A crate would be a better option.

Emigrating seems a bit extreme.

When we had a Border Collie we used to drop the rear seats and installed 'dog bars', which prevented her leaping about in the back, and was safer in case of accident. Loose dogs in a car are a distraction for the driver.

And now illegal, I think. There's a good range of crates available, some tailored for estates / hatchbacks with angled sides. Also two part mesh gate systems for estates, one goes behind the front or rear seats, the other across the tailgate opening. Means dog is secure with tailgate open.

None of this helps for a saloon, of course.

I have dog bars, it's the heating elements in the rear window I want to protect. A polycarbonate screen held on by suckers or similar would be ideal but I'm not having much luck with google.

Didn't realise that they sold it. Thanks for the heads up.

Greenhouse specialists may be cheaper IMX

What about using clear fablon type stuff?

I suppose there might be an issue of it pulling the element off if ever you want to remove it though?

Are doggie car slippers available?

Good idea! By the time he's chewed them off Tim would have reached his destination.
