Renault Scenic - read ABS fault codes

Is there any easy way to read ABS fault codes from a 2003 Renault Scenic please? I have got an OBD-II reader, but that will only look at engine data. Is it a software or a hardware thing that I can't see other codes, or is all that stuff still proprietary? Googling didn't reveal much.

I'm 99% sure it will be one of the sensors causing the problem, but can't see anything obvious as to which one it is. I'd rather try and find out which one before I start swapping in new ones - it would take me too long to replace each corner and test each time.

TIA

OBD-II is just for emissions related faults.

You'll need to get it checked on a decent diagnostic scanner. Most independent garages can do this check for you now. No need to bother the Renault Dealer.

You could unplug each sensor & check the resistance is of similar values in each one (usually 1k ohm each). Also spin each wheel & check the ac waveform produced is the same at each sensor...

Now there's a good idea. I had thought that the sensors were active devices and needed powering up, so now I can just plug in a 'scope and look. (Needed an excuse to go and buy one)

Thanks
