I've put a new battery in but it still doesn't work. What would be a reasonable price for a garage to reprogram it? TIA, P

First of all, try re-initialising the remote yourself. Sit in drivers seat with door open, put key in ignition and turn until you hear the beep of the key-in warning buzzer. Then press the remote buttons several times. If you are successful, the doors, should lock and unlock. If not, a complete re-program is needed, and this should cost no more than £20, and take a couple of minutes. If your vehicle has a factory fitted alarm, then you will need the four-digit immobiliser/security code (not radio code) to program the remote. If you don't have all the security data, it can be obtained for you from Vauxhall for a small charge if you produce the V5.
