No idea, but as a precaution we always have the cambelt changed when we buy a secondhand car then you know where you stand with it. We know someone who bought a vehicle that had only done about 25 or 30k and the belt snapped. When he looked into the history of it, it turns out that it used to belong to a milkman - didn't do a lot of "rolling" mileage but because of all the idling it had done the belt had worn as much as a much higher mileage one.

Have mine done on Rover 600 every 20k (2 to 3 years) and guy doesnt charge much more than a standard service.

Had a Cavalier and did the same with that from 20k up to 225k when I part exed it. Drove like a dream and wasonly starting to drink a little oil at

200k.
