Two Years

My P11-144 I bought two years ago is still going strong. Only major work required was a rusted exhaust. Brakes are still good, engine sound. Got a slight knocking on front left, but I think that's body work as I manhandled the wheels with no play.

It doesn't knock when turning right, or even over uneven surfaces, under breaking, or speed.

Only thing Im slightly concerned about is the slight judder from the clutch when taking up second. But then Im still not used to a manual. Still keep stalling it. It's the accelerator, I either get too many or not enough revs.

I was slagged off two years ago for buying the car, spending £2500 on it... told remotely it would be a lemon, not worth it and would need serious work to the suspension within two years.

I think it's great.

Don't worry, everyone here is eating their hat.

It was way too expensive though.

You held a grudge for two years and counted the days to your anniversary?

Um...

Well no, not a grudge. More a sense of righteous smugness. I realised I had the car two years and I thought two years, ahh, yes, that's the time frame for which I was supposed to have had major remedial work carried out.

Hey, I got a good a memory.

Don't blame me for that!
