Used car warranty

As far as I can tell there is no such thing as a ' decent ' used car warranty. most are an insurance based thing which is not worth the ink never mind the paper its written on as they are such a pain in the arse to claim against. The car must be taken to their 'approved' repairer and must be inspected by their own engineer so you are withuot your car for 2 weeks before they will even decide that the problem is 'fair wear and tear' and will refuse to pay up. And just in case you wondered, no you cannot have the repairs done then send them the bill as the 'warranty' company will always refuse to pay as you have failed to meet their 'terms & conditions'. Don't bother with warranties just find a local independant BMW specialist and have the car serviced and maintained correctly at a reasonable price.
