Hi i have a noise on My 2001 Zafira and wondered if anyone could help. It has been to the garage this week and the mechanic changed the brake pads at the front and the fuel filter , he drove the car before i picked it up but didnt make the noise for him. It is a grating noise that winds down to a low noise that sounds like a distant car horn. It only started a few weeks ago and was intermittent and now seems to slowly be getting worse. It seems to be more apparent when braking with the wheels slighty turned but not all the time.
If anyone has any ideas/help would be great as i am due to do a long motorway drive soon and i am really concerend that it may affect the cars performance and cause an accident or some such.
