My 2001 mazda miata mx-5 came with the power antenna. When having it detailed, the shop left it up when run through the wash, and broke it. They fixed it for free and it worked fine for a month or so. Now, it goes up perfectly, but leaves one full link up when it stops. Any ideas?
When the broke it, it had a bend in it. The "Fix" was to straighten in out, but there is still a bit of a kink left where it bent, which is binding. Some carefull tweaking with a pair of pliers may work, otherwise a replacement is in order.
