CD Player

Hi, I wondering is there any tutorials online which teach us how to pull out the stock cd player for my 1992 Miata? Because that thing is broken, I need to replace a new cd player in.

If you buy from Crutchfield

they include greatdetailed instructions with pictures and all of the pieces and wire harnesses(oem stereo to Alpine/Kenwood, etc. adapter) you'll need to put anaftermarket head unit in there. Those same 'installation' parts were goingto cost me an extra 75.00 bucks at Best Buy or Circuit City. Shop theoutlet or the specials area on the site. I've bought two stereos andchangers from them (outlet) and couldn't be more pleased with their customerservice.

Hi folks,

ANyone know how to deal with this? The car has alloy wheels and although we took off the four nuts from the tire, the wheel does not come out and we are curious if it needs a special hub/kit or whatever that would engage it on the Mazda emblem on the alloy wheel so the tire could come out!!

It has been snowing hard, so there is also a chance the thing got frozen and indeed does not need a key whatsoever and would be able to come out with sheer force.

Any ideas?!?? Anyone know of how to deal with this sh*t?

Thank you so much, --ersin

Probably the wheel is corroded to the flange. A couple of good heavy kicks should break it free. Next time you put an alloy wheel on a steel flange, consider to apply some "anhydrous lanolin" (get it from a drugstore) on the mating flanges/surfaces - will retard the 'dissimilar metal corrosion'.

out!!

I doubt it. More likely, it's just gotten stuck. Give it a swift kick, or several, once you've removed the nuts.

If the swift kick method doesn't work, you can try putting the lug nuts back on, but leaving them loose. Then VERY CAREFULLY drive the car a short distance. A single hard application of the brakes might also help. The wheel should come off after your short drive.
