Live better electrically

If the range isn't sufficient I guess you could replace the batteries with Energizers? Then it would keep going and going and going and..

Why would a electric car have 4 Exhaust pipes? (first photo). My guess it is a Jag, looks kinda reminiscant of an E-Type.

IIRC it also has virtual engine sound (maybe that was a different car, I started wandering when I read about this car). You gotta have a place for that sound to appear to come out, otherwise, you won't fool anybody ;-)

I'm not sure it does have exhaust pipes, the other photos aren't very clear? This doesn't help, either:

If it does it would be because people expect it, I guess, but I don't think those are exhaust pipes?

Since we're far into the realm of speculation, I'm sure Pat and Leon will join us soon...

A Leon does not speculate, and neither, AFAIK, does Pat. A Leon observes data and them draws the logical conclusions.

are no exhaust pipes in this picture. Assuming they do not fake-exhaustthrough the front grille, I would assume no fake exhausts have been added atall.

This one seems to have E-Type four exhausts sticking out the back. Also, the car is supposed to feature regerative braking & hub mounted motors, yet this pic shows the hubs full of brake disks.

Kinda like kids putting a bit of cardboard in the spokes of their bike? IMHO most of us outgrew that. Tacky.

From Websters: Speculate - To assume to be true without conclusive evidence.

That does not sound like Leon to me, he is a little too scientific for that. His analysis on white paint alone proves that.....

I did speculate that the '95M has the same seats as the '96M. Turns out I was wrong, there was strong evidence in the pictures to prove me wrong, and if that did not convince me, I could have looked at a '95M in person. I am sure that I have done it other times as well, but I try not to "believe" in anything that can not be proved.

With the dead and badly beaten horse that is otherwise known as the RX-7 that lost all 4 wheels at Dixie, however, Leon was absolutely correct, and I love to argue with Leon. ;-)

We used playing cards, frequently taken from the decks that the adults used to play bridge and poker. I think that they had to count them every time they played if they weren't breaking a new pack open.

A plain engine prototype?

You were wrong. They do not have the same seats, they have seats of the same design. But I will admit that in that case, there was a minor imperfection in my observations too.

Wow, now we are getting technical.

Yes, it is true that no car can have the same seats in it as another car at the same time. That would violate some very basic laws of time and space.

However, in the case of the seats that were installed in the '95M, they are also of a different design than the '96M, having a separate headrest that I think is unique with the M1's, though I don't want to speculate on that. :-)

Excuse me, I meant that the seats originally installed in the '95M are of a different design than the seats that were originally installed in the '96M.

Obviously the '95M seats are of a different design than the entire '96M Miata. I just want to keep things straight. ;-)

"Bit of cardboard"? Unless you grew up up a culturally deprived area, it was a baseball card, secured with a clothespin.

And I still put them on my motorcycle. So there.

Strewth mate! Not sure Australia is "Culturally deprived". Having seen Americans play Cricket, I understand why you need a "World series". Not sure inviting Japan & Cuba along quites cuts it though.

You've got to be kidding me.

It reminds me of the fake gear changes that some manufacturers are putting on their CVTs. What...is...the...point?

Certainly not these days, but it may have been back in the early 50's, by which time the spoke/card trick was certainly established.

But Oz must have trading cards these days for Aussie Rules football, soccer, and cricket, no?

Then you've seen a truly rare sight. I've owned a cricket ball and bat since

1950, and have never seen Americans playing the game. 8;)

We've never invited any other country to participate in any event leading up to our baseball World Series. Perhaps you mean the World Series of Poker? We even let an Aussie win that one...
