If no one knows I guess I can live with that. But is anyone out there?
'95 s420 check engine light, is there a way, without fixing the problem to just quickly disconnect? So, I do not have to look at it until it is fixed.

When I was having one of my cars inspected for Smog sometime back the car before me had the light covered up with a piece of black plastic electrical tape. Needless to say the Tech asked the owner to pull it off and told him to get it fixed before he could test it for Smog compliance.
I do not have smog check in my area. I will get it fixed, just wanted to know if it could be disabled until then.
Thanks

You have to dismantle the dash and remove the wiring harness to that light
Thsi may disable lights, sensors etc so best left to dealer
