280se

Hi all,

I'm in talks with a gentleman about his totally redone 280se. It's a 1969 280se. What he had done to it was quite substantial. It's a "w126". He wants $11,200.

Thanks in advance,

Bill

No way no how can it be a W126 body. The 126 body came out in the USA as an 81 year model. The earliest grey market one I have seen is a 1980. It may possibly be a 116 body. In the USA, the 116 came out as the 1973 year model. I cannot imagine the 116 appearing in 1969 anywhere. I believe you are looking at a 108 body 280SE.
