560 sel a/c

have a long delay for compressor activation when first turned on. then blows cold for approx 5 mins then comp cycles off. and long delay for comp again. on and on. any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like your evaporator iced up... due to low freon.

not a low freon prob. has new expansion valve dryer and recharge. has the comp delay from first start up.

What freon did you use? R134a? Did you convert the low pressure sensor?

yes 134a and both switches on dryer new. tried jumping out low press sw same thing. i'm thinking maybe something in the temp control head.
