It's usually a 12-15 second crank to start my hot engine. But if it's been sitting with the engine off for more than say 30 minutes, it starts right up.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hot hard start problem is because of internal fuel pressure leak... that hot engine and low fuel line pressure will allow the liquid fuel turn into gas.... vapor lock.
Most common solution is fuel accumulator by the fuel filter... if you disconnect the rubber hose side.. and fuel keeps coming out from the accumulator... it is definitely bad.
Another possible solution is the compensator piston seal on the fuel distributor... easy fix.
