Welcome... but you haven't said anything by way of introduction in this message. ;-)

E.g. what Merc (or other car) you have.

Haha, excuse me :) If you are interested i have a 2003 BMW m3 which I just bought about a year ago and I'm thinking about trading it in for a Merc. And by the way I live in Iceland so if any of my grammar is incorrect it's not my fault :D. Anyways I would really like to get some comments on what kind of Benzes of prefer the best and keep in mind they don't have to be AMGs og SLRs 'cause I can't trade in my BMW for any of these :D

Don't worry about your English. I bet it is better than that of some of the native English-speakers here... :-)

The nearest (slightly bigger) vehicle is a C Class, as I am sure you know. You would need a newish model to avoid reported problems.

Why would you want to trade in an M3? ( I guess you have to do it in cash as there are no banks left in Iceland... ;-) )

Your car is not that old and, presumably, has good performance.

The B Class of any age is, I understand, reliable. In my eyes it looks very boring but is comfortable and practical. However, it does not have an upright star at the end of the bonnet and the sloping nose makes it slightly harder to park, though an electronic parking aid would fix that.

:-)

Why do you call it a POS?

(You might have recited the reasons before but I can't remember....)

That's not what I heard in general and one participant here loves it. I have sat in it and found it comfortable.

It's an extended A-class and it is Front-wheel-drive.

POS probably because with a short history and parts that only fit A/B class vehicles, there are still lots of bugs for you, the owner to discover and it's less likely you will find Recon/OEM parts to fix anything.

'nuff said.

"Probably" is just rumour. I understand that this is a reliable car

This is on contrast to early A Class, which was not (according to the Merc garage I use here in London).

I find the B's appearance boring, but that does not make it a POS.
