i have an mb e-klasse with an mb audio 10 radio with cd changer since 6/2000. now the display shows only "service" while the radio is fully functional. but i cannot read any station display etc. the mercedes service says the radio has to be replaced. does anybody out there have had similar problems? what can i do? thanks, wezeh

Absolutely. What is the fault supposed to be so cause a "service" display?

on the instruction is write if is possible to replace an hard reset? the last try... unplug the battery for the night... and pray! if possible that reload the software load on the eeprom. FrAnK my sony on the car dosen't read the cd...save by hard reset.
