You've just found them.
Here are the specs for the U.S.-model 450 SE engine.
1973 U.S. M 117.983 Engine 4-stroke gasoline injection electronically controlled 8 cylinders in V Bore: 92 mm Stroke: 85 mm Displacement: 4520 cc Compression ratio: 8.0:1 Firing order: 1-5-4-8-6-3-7-2 Maximum rpm: 5800 SAE net max. power: 190 hp @ 4750 rpm (In California: 180 hp @ 4750 rpm) SAE net torque: 240 lb-ft @ 3000 rpmBest regards,
Danny
Why, Thank you, Danny - Just what I was looking for.
Tell me - with that displacement, and only 8/1 Compression ratio, doesn't this engine scream out for a nice, conservative turbo installation?
