Mercedes 600 CL

I'm in the market looking for a 1998-1999 600CL. Any advice regarding this model since so far my experience with Mercedes did not exceed the 6-cylinder
size. Thank you. Hany

Have heard from many knowledgeable people to stay away form the 12-cylinder engines. To many expensive problems. If you've got deep pockets..........go for it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~

You're certainly jumping to an expensive model, the CL500 isn't good enough?

Your opinions are greatly appreciated. This is why probably I'm getting some really good deals on 1999 600CLs out there

The CL500's are incredible cars and the engines are bullet-proof. We had a '96 S500C that we loved. Wish we still had it over the '00 CL500 we have now. We were forced to sell our S500C with Starmark and only 47K miles this fall for 20K. You would have loved it! Dale '00 CL500 '88 560SL
