Above 1 for idling... pegged at 3 anytime you are driving.
The above is correct. As mentioned you may have a thinner oil in the
engine...but the gauge should still be pegged when engine is being driven at
speed. It is also possible that your guage may not be working properly.
Generally, your engine should be safe as long as you have some oil pressure.
